October 27, 2010I wish I could stay forever in Glasgow. I am HOME when I am here. Babalik nanaman ako sa London bukas ng umaga. Makikita ko nanaman ang apat na sulok na kwarto ko. Sasakay nanaman ako sa red buses. Makikipaghabulan sa tren at magmumukmok pagdating sa bahay. Gusto ko pang kasama si Miggy. Gusto ko pa syang buhatin at manghuli ng napakamahal nyang smile. Mamimiss ko nanaman ang luto ni Ate Donna. Ang pagiging cool ni Ate Mitch at ang curry ni Kuya Raju. Gusto ko pang maligaw sa Glasgow City Centre. Maglakad sa ulan habang halos 4 degrees ang temperatura. Madaling pumunta mahirap umalis. Pag-uwi ko malulungkot nanaman ako. *SOB*

Whew! finally little Miguel was out to see the world! I was very anxious sa trabaho when I knew that my sister was actually having 4 minutes interval contraction. She was advised to go home kase 1cm palang sya 2 days ago. Sabi ko nga sa kanya sa ibang public hospital nga 7cm na pinauuwi pa hehe kase walang vacant na delivery bed kase may nanganganak pa. Kung hindi pa talaga fully dilated hindi ka isasalang.
The midwife manually ruptured her bag of water at 11am yesterday and after the agonizing pain her cervix was still 6cm kaya sa caesarean section pa din natuloy.
At exactly 9:36pm, a very healthy 7.5lbs baby miggie was born.
My elder sister Mitch was there until the 5th of November. She flew from dublin last Tuesday, just in time! Ako naman surprise haha sabi ko hindi ako makakapunta pero pupunta ako. I want to carry Miggie din! I’ll be going on Saturday night after my long day shift sa carehome. Mag-bus na lang ako going to Scotland bahala na kung mag-snore ako ng bonggang bongga. What can I do I can’t help it bwahahaha! I’ll be back Wednesday. A dragging 9 hours journey but it will be worth it!

P.A.N.I.C attacked!
October 11, 2010This day was one of the scariest days of my life. I am currently living in East London, they said the rent was way cheaper in this area. True. We moved all the way from the other side of London to rent a room in a four bedroom house. Everything was going well. I am comfortable. An hour away from Central London where my college is. A dragging two hours journey to my workplace BUT it was still okay.
NOT UNTIL LAST NIGHT.
Yes, we were robbed. I went to a baby shower party last night so I had to stay in one of my friends house in Croydon. I had to sleep over in her place because I have an early shift the following day. Then, Joy texted me. I was rushing the Kardex so I didn’t bother to read her message. Few missed calls. I then realized maybe its urgent so I sneaked somewhere to read her message. I felt all my blood suddenly went straight to my head. It all happened between 3am-4am last night, someone or maybe its not just one person went inside the house. Pastor was still awake preparing his sermon for the service but he did not hear anything downstairs. He went down to make a coffee when he saw from the window that the big car is not there. He rushed outside to see that even Auntie Julie’s car was nowhere to be found. The robbers got the car keys and his wallet. I was so scared for them. I am scared until now. I feel unsafe. When I am doing a long day shift I usually get home half past nine or ten in the evening. I am worried about my safety. The mere fact that people can go inside a house without breaking anything was so damn scary. This incident made me want to move out. Do you think I should do it?Help.
